A few years ago I wrote about Berlin based Bazar Noir, where you will find a carefully selected mix of handcrafted small furniture, objects, books, and art defined by a simple yet avant-garde style! I regularly check the site to see what’s new and drool over my favourites . They have so many unique pieces.
Favourite today is the Limited edition daybed by Martensen, designed in collaboration with Bazar Noir. This chunky and cosy daybed reflects the minimalistic approach adopted by its author, giving space a primary role. With an obsessive eye for the very best materials – much like that in evidence on fashion runways – Martensen reinterprets “Haute Couture” through his furniture.
His love of the nest and most luxurious materials is here expressed in the use of exclusive nappa leather, the solid bent-metal frame grants the piece a minimalistic look without detracting from its comfort. Find out more about the stunning apartment in my next post.
