Yesterday I released a new collection of prints in my shop, and I talked about the Plissé designs here on the blog. Today I’m highlighting another exciting series: Friluftsliv in collaboration with Emma Lavelle from lifestyle blog Field & Nest.
I met Emma in person during 3 days of design in Copenhagen where she showed me her work and I fell in love with her sense for capturing the essence and atmosphere of a moment. Her Wanderlust and love for slow travel stands out in her pictures and I’m so happy to have the oportunity to collaborate with her on a series of prints featuring her work.
Emma shot these magical winter photographs on her trip to the natural landscapes that surround Oslo, Norway.
In these photographs, Emma captured her fascination with Friluftsliv (free air life), which is a Norwegian concept that is all about spending as much time outdoors while embracing the weather – rather than hiding away indoors during the winter months, wrapping up warm and heading outdoors to admire the landscapes.
