How to Make a DIY stylish vase from an old lamp

1. Wear gloves. Take a small hammer and gently tap the base of the lamp to break the safety there.
2. Using a fine-grained pin or a small screwdriver, remove the thread inside the lamp by making slow movements so as not to break the outer casing.
3. Make sure the inside of the lamp is completely empty before attempting to clean it. Then pour 1/8 tsp. kaolin in the lamp and shake it well (alternatively you can use a solution of soap and water). Allow the powder to act for a while. Finally, remove any debris with a napkin.
4. Fill the bulb with water and flowers of your choice. If you want to hang them, wrap some wire or string around its base, slip it over a nail or hook and tie its free ends with a sturdy knot.
