Can’t think of a more staple outfit for fall than a good pair of jeans, a cozy white knit sweater and soft ballerinas. Really, can you? For that matter, I’m choosing this year’s basics from Everlane where I can be sure of their fine quality plus ethical and sustainable origins.

The jeans are vintage-inspired and that means non-stretchy and high-rise and they take me all the way back to my school years. I’m also thinking of the same pair in white, as I love wearing white in the winter! It just feels so fresh (I’m sure it has something to do with snow or more likely the absence of it around here lol).

The sweater is a super cushy cotton link-stitch crewneck and is so comfy and easy to wear. I love that despite being rather chunky it still is flattering esp. with my narrow shoulders. It also comes in a gorgeous brass and a bold rust hue.

As for the flats, really do the day glove flats from Everlane need any introduction? One of their most famous and sold piece now has 3 suede finishes that are absolutely lustworthy. Mine is the dark rose which is currently sold out (told ya!) and also the navy (sold out as well) and the pale rose (still a chance to get this one 😉 plus the huge collection of fine nappa leather colors. I am particularly in love with the cushioned insole, these things are extremely comfortable to wear all day long.
