A quiet, immersive paddleboard expedition in Fiordland’s Dusky Sound inspired David Trubridge to create Dusk — his first portable LED-powered light. Lush mosses and ferns spilling out over the deep, moody waters were translated into four printed designs but the folded, leaf-like light also comes in a plain version called, appropriately, Mist. Two material finishes — birch plywood and translucent paper — are available and a portion of profits from the lamp will be donated to Pure Salt, a social enterprise with a commitment to restore and conserve Dusky Sound as one of the most intact ecosystems on our planet.
