2. Loki – @loki_the_wolfdog
Loki the wolfdog sure is a cutie. He travels with Kelly Lund (@shark_toof) around Colorado and loves new adventures! This husky/arctic wolf/malamute mix is never left behind – Kelly Lund explains: “Growing up in a family that took dog ownership very seriously, I had my fair share of experiences with large dogs. Loki was different though. Instead of him entering into my world, I felt like I had to listen closely and enter into his world, if this was going to work out. At that time, I decided that I would do everything possible to not leave him behind at the house. We started backcountry snowboarding together when he was four months old, and before his third birthday, he’d seen most of the western U.S.”
And they haven’t looked back since….
3. Aspen – @aspenthemountainpup
Aspen the Golden Retriever is living an adventure, and sure looks majestic whilst doing so. Catch him learning how to paddle board, chilling in the mountains and snuggling in a tent with his owners. Bliss…
When in doubt, head to the mountains. There’s no place I’d rather spend my day!

6. Bolt and Keel – @boltandkeel
Time to throw some cats into the mix! You didn’t think it would all be traveling dogs? These brothers are adventure cats who hike, paddle and snowshoe through the wilderness. Bolt and Keel were abandoned in a park, discovered by avid photographer Kayleen VanderRee. She was about to embark on a mountain trek, and since the animal shelter was closed, she took them along. Now they love nothing more than perching on her shoulder or standing proud at the bow of a canoe <3
You can also check out their photography collection in a new book coming out October 2017: “Bolt and Keel: The Wild Adventures of Two Rescued Cats“.
