A modern and minimal cluster house created by Norm Architects, The Gjøvik House is located on a majestic hill side north of Oslo, facing the Norwegian woods and Mjøsa lake. A humble structure made up of six interconnected blocks that act as ‘cosy cubes’, the property blends beautifully with the harsh yet peaceful surroundings. The simple interior blueprint showcases the soft minimalism that Norm is known for with grey textured walls, polished concrete, warm wood and earthy textiles in shades of sand and stone. Subdued yet cosy, the overall look and feel epitomises the Scandinavian concept hygge.
