Plaini and Karahalios Architects renovated the Arches Boutique Hotel in Santorini, Greece.  Santorini has always been a bridge of cultures, bringing together different elements and introducing new unique forms.
The building itself, situated in the center of Oia, serves as a paradigm of co-esxistance between the traditional Cycladic white forms and the array of west-influenced arches, echoing the utopian landscapes of Giorgio De Chirico’s paintings.
The interiors of the rooms are decorated with antique furniture from the late 19^th to the first half of the 20^th century.
