Who’d think mirror covered ceilings ever would look cool? Or that I´d ever crave for the light yellow walls I had in my teenage bedroom again? When its done the way it is in the newly renovated apartment of Swedish architect Andreas Martin-Löf I want both. Andreas Martin-Löf Arkitekter’s premises are located in one of Norr Mälarstrand’s iconic modernist buildings on Kungsholmen in Stockholm, with scenic views over Riddarfjärden waterway. During Design Week the exhibition Spatial Sensibilities – a collaboration between Frama and Andreas Martin-Löf was shown in this unique space.
Selfies reaching a new level with mirrors in the ceiling!

I knew before I entered the space it would be good from the photos already posted from others, but experience it yourself is always better. The materials used, the light, the uniqueness and the careful attention to details. I´d love to see how it will look like the rest of the apartment is finished and furnished by the architect himself. Patterned wooden floors is seen often in historical buildings and I´m so happy to see that´s the choice of flooring during renovations as well. Perfect match for this space!

Colors in the apartment is also carefully chosen. From the beautiful blue-green in the hallway, to the light yellow and the smooth white. With elegant details in wood throughout the space, stone and marble and suede covered doors.

The new products presented by Frama included the Farmhouse Trestles dining table above, A.M.L Stool designed by Andreas Martin-Löf and new ceramic pieces for the AJ Otto series.
