This 1000-square-foot home above Tomales Bayin California’s Marin County has been transformed by Commune Design with a focus on colour, pattern and handcrafted details. Limewashed walls, refinished wood panelling and painted trim bring warmth and texture, while bold patterns and vibrant hues add personality to every room. Bespoke furnishings and artisan-crafted pieces, including an ornamental glass tile fireplace and custom light fixtures, have been integrated seamlessly into the design. The result is a harmonious blend of West Marin charm and Scandinavian-inspired vibrancy, with layers of character and thoughtful details throughout.
