Mina Ivanova’s embroidery is going places—literally. She creates hoops featuring cabins in the woods, mountains, and vacationers wading through water. The vibrant designs are then photographed in front of a landscape. Sometimes, they blend in, like they are an extension of the scenes. In other instances, they accent the places whether it’s through their color or their content. Whatever the case, embroidery is a welcome addition to any scene.
