If you follow me on Instagram I am pretty sure you have seen me cooking pretty dishes with recipes from one of my latest purchases. ‘Cook Beautiful‘. The book full of delicious recipes by Athena Calderone has been out for some time. It was only recently I made the connection with her blog ‘Eyeswoon’ Athena took up writing in 2012, a few years after I started vosgesparis in 2007, and I remember visiting her blog the first years.
Live Beautiful
Nowadays she is just so much more, l spotted her latest book ‘Live Beautiful’ in numerous Instagram interiors and blogs all over the internet. With her two homes, one in Brooklyn and one in Amagansett (East Hamptons) She has plenty of space and playground to not only make videos and pictures for her Instagram and blog but the homes are also an inspiration for many people who are gaining interest in interior design or started decorating their homes.
Her style is best known for the mix of high end Italian designer pieces, like the Mario Bellini sofa, numerous lamps and other items from my beloved Apparatus mixed with well sourced vintage pieces. Many may also know her for her love for branches and antique vessels.
