One of my favorites gifts I got so far this year was a cozy leopard print robe. Now I know you’re thinking that’s your favorite gift? Well it’s definitely my most used, especially in these cold winter months. I typically work from home so my work attire might be different than most, but I like to wear this over my casual attire for the day. It’s also great just for snuggling on the couch with some coffee or a movie. My children have inherited this “Winter habit” from me and typically start taking my robes. So this year for Christmas I wanted to make them their own little robes fit just for them. My son said he wanted a “gaming robe”. So for the pattern I went with this Indygo Junction’s Kimono robe as the base. I also wanted to add a hoody and pockets for their snacks and controllers when they get in the “gaming mode.” I used Dritz Fold-Over Elastic for the belt loops and it can also be used as a binding for the interior and exterior edges. I wanted a quality fabric that was soft and cuddly and the pro’s in this field is Shannon Fabrics. Get the details below to make your own.
