In this video I show you how I painted a realistic ocean wave. I get so many questions asking how I paint realistic water so here is an example of one of the ways I approach it. Painting water with oils is different with every single painting, but I hope this demonstration can give you an idea of how to use oil paints! This is just one way of doing it, oil painting is vast world filled with endless possibilities, so don’t be afraid to experiment!
