Lorraine Izon is a potter and an illustrator who studied ceramics in Melbourne, Australia and has been a studio potter for over twenty years. Inspired by the local natural world her work currently focuses on uncomplicated bird forms decorated with intricate patterns and textures. Her use of ceramic materials and decorating techniques may vary but her themes rarely do. Throughout the year she exhibits her ceramics in a variety of galleries and exhibitions.
