I think this studio layout works very nicely with the bedroom hidden inside of this niche behind the large curtain. The niche bedroom also includes a built in wardrobe, which gives his area everything you would have in a normal bedroom. 

I like the large light area rug* underneath the sofa as well. It matches the color of the sofa’s textile perfectly and separates this area from the rest of the living room. While the color palette of this studio generally has been kept very modest, the warm elements like the warm beige velvet pillow covers* or the light brown duvet* really stand out and make this space cozy and inviting.
