Established in 2013, Alexander &CO. is a Sydney based architectural and interior design company specialising in both commercial and residential projects of the highest quality. I recently stumbled across one of these projects, Iluka House, a stunning transformation of an existing waterfront holiday villa in Palm Beach, Sydney. Struck by the elegance and beauty of the home, which has a restrained European feel, I reached out to the firm’s director Jeremy Bull to find out more.
With a brief to improve the home spatially, enhancing the incredible views and access to the water, Alexander &CO. prioritised the architectural framing, creating an open space that spills out onto the outdoor garden, allowing for a beautiful transition between indoors and out. The owners regularly entertain and host guests, so the open plan living space and garden were to become the central focus in creating a home away from home.

Before heading into the weekend, I just wanted to give you a heads up that I am off on my trip tomorrow.
