When we’re painting a portrait of a wild animal, it can be nice to show it displaying its natural behaviour. If we want to show an animal moving very quickly, loose watercolour can be a good choice as it lends itself well to creating lots of movement.
That’s why I invited my friend, professional artist Jennifer Rose, back into the studio to how us how she painted this wild hare, sprinting along in the rain.
I hope you’ll enjoy watching, and grab your brushes to give it a go too.
