This week Danish brand ferm LIVING opened the doors to their brand new showroom ‘The Home’ in the centre Copenhagen. Showcasing their new AW17 collection, the pieces are an exploration of volumes, geometry, graphical elements, and a touch of the Nordic decadence. Let’s take a look.

A few of my favourite picks include the Borders Kelim Rugs which feature beautiful burnt hues, the velour Poufs which come in three different geometrical shapes in various colours and the uniquely versatile Unfold Room Divider. The new collection features updated designs to the Collect Lighting Series, including the introduction of some enticing new colours and a range of beautiful opal shades in three round shapes.
The collection offers many gorgeous new accessories which make it hard to pick, but I especially love the sweet pink Spin Jars and the new Sekki range of plant pots and tableware. Rediscovering the magic of traditional manufacturing, the Sekki range is made of clay, showcasing a remarkable, coarse texture and rich, earthy colours. The popular Plant Box range sees the addition of a smaller model, ideal for storage on the kitchen counter, where you want to keep chopping boards and ingredients within reach. I also love the new Drupe Mill, designed for freshly ground spices, salt or pepper, they are made of ash wood and come in six divine colours.
