We explore Dekton’s latest collection of engineered stone created in collaboration with Houston-based designer Nina Magon.
Introduced in 2013 by Spanish-born and owned engineered stone company Cosentino, Dekton is an ultra-compact surface composed of natural quartz stone, porcelain, glass and minerals that are fused and compressed under high heat.
Their latest range, designed with interior designer Nina Magon, comprises six dramatic and ‘dreamlike’ colourways; Awake, Lucid, Somnia, Neural, Trance and Vigil. “With the Dekton technology, we can create our own colours and structures, bringing to life something that is unique, beautiful and irreplaceable,” Nina says.

Dekton Trance features fine streaks that move between blue and fade to gold, combining perfectly with oak wood and darker walnut tones.
Dekton Awake is Nina Magon’s reinterpretation of the precious Paonazzo stone. It features thick veins of light grey, terracotta and subtle blue hues.
Dekton Vigil combines differing sizes of veins in gradients of light and dark greys, matched with a delicate gold thread.
