After successfully presenting a luxury icon in the fashion world, Louis Vuitton announced plans to open their first hotel. Located next to Louis Vuitton flagship store at 103-111 avenue des Champs-Elysées, this hotel will cover almost 6,000 square meters and open in 2026. Initially this area was intended for the newest store of the Dior brand, but in the end it was LVMH Maison Louis Vuitton who occupies that location. This hotel was inspired by Louis Vuitton’s success at the Saint Tropez restaurant in France in 2022.

This building was chosen because it has an interesting history. In 1898 it opened as a hotel, then in 1919 it functioned as a bank before the Nazis took over the location during World War 2. After that the HSBC bank took over and made it its headquarters for the last 20 years. Interestingly, even though this hotel is still under construction, it has attracted a lot of attention. There is a giant Trunks monogram that surrounds the facade to cover the facade while work is underway.

According to the mayor of the 8th arrondissement of Paris, Jeanne d’Hauteserre, the first hotel in Louis Vuitton’s history will have an area of 6,000 square meters and will officially open in 2026. However, the building is already ready to host the Spring-Spring fashion show. Louis Vuitton Summer 2024 will be held on October 2. What do you think, do you want to try staying here or does this hotel have a design that might be a little strange? We’ll see the final result.
