I think this is such a cozy living room and kitchen combined. These used to be two separate rooms I think (maybe even with those beautiful turn of the century wing doors in between) but now they form one joint living space. The kitchen has been separated from the living area by a small island, which allows for extra work surface at the same time. 

The white round dining table combined with the black bentwood chairs matches the black and white kitchen very nicely and the sofa corner has been made into its own little area by placing an area rug underneath it.
