Every room in this inner-city house by decus, is different, creating an explosion of colour for this professional couple’s dream home.
The feel of Manning Road is optimistic with some organic materiality added to anchor the design. Our clients were not prescriptive with their brief, only in their lists of ‘must haves’.
Just like the couple themselves, each room was designed to both complement and contrast the others. The wine cellar, for example, is decorated in luxurious shades of inky blue and charcoal, and the bathroom radiates femininity, with its pink onyx, dusty rose concrete floor, statement lighting and custom-designed mirror. The spaces reflect both the energetic personalities of our clients, as well as their polar opposite personalities.
The result is a home that reflects and celebrates the playful, lavish and dramatic.
