Back this week with more easy crafts that you can do while hanging out at home! This week I have a mix of crafts for kids and adults! Anddd we’re using popsicle sticks for all of our crafts this week! I thought it was a good option because a lot of people have them in their crafting supplies already and, if not, they’re super cheap and easy to get!
As with last week’s crafts, I have a video below walking you through all the steps and then below that there’s a quick rundown of supplies/instructions for each project.
Bookmarks
- craft sticks
- contact paper (link is the closest I could find to the one I used)
- scissors
- embroidery floss
Wrap contact paper tightly around craft stick. (Add glue beforehand if needed.) Trim down round edges. Add embroidery floss tassels.
Plant & Herb Markers
- craft sticks
- paint
- paint brush
Paint ends of craft sticks in varying shades of green. (You can use wash tape to create a cleaner line if you want.) Paint on the name of the plants/herbs you’re planting.
Thankfulness Jar
- craft sticks
- paint
- paint brush
- jar
Paint ends of craft sticks in varying colors. (You can use wash tape to create a cleaner line if you want.) Add to jar. Each day take one out and write something you are thankful for.
Wall Art
- craft sticks
- paint
- paint brush
- cardstock
- hot glue gun
- scissors
- command strips
Paint ends of craft sticks in varying colors. (You can use wash tape to create a cleaner line if you want.) Lay out pattern that you like. Hot glue to cardstock. Cut excess cardstock from around the sticks. Use a command strip to hang up.
Rainbow Cloud
- popsicle sticks
- paint
- paint brush
- cardstock
- hot glue gun
- cloud template
- scissors
- *optional – cotton balls
- command strips
Paint 7 popsicle sticks in desired colors. Lay out pattern that you like. Hot glue to a strip of cardstock. Print and cut out cloud template. Glue onto top of popsicle sticks. Glue cotton balls to cloud if desired. Use a command strip to hang up.
Family Puppets

- pictures of family

- hot glue gun
Cut out pictures of family members’ faces. Glue onto popsicle sticks.
Easy Puzzle
- craft sticks
- picture or drawing
- glue (mod podge/hot glue gun/elmer’s glue)
- scrap wood
- x-acto knife
- scissors
Glue craft sticks to the back of the picture. Use x-acto knife to separate the pieces after glue has dried. Trim round ends with scissors.
