3daysofdesign | Skagerak

During 3daysofdesign I had the pleasure of visiting the beautiful Skagerak Flagship Store in Copenhagen. A family-owned company with historical roots in Scandinavian geography and proud furniture traditions, Skagerak create timeless, sustainable products for the home. While the company has developed into a modern design brand, the founding elements including a passion for wood and focus on quality have remained at the forefront. Collaborating with established designers as well as emerging talents, Skagerak produce an extensive selection of contemporary products. Sitting side by side with the classics, they are designed to last, to age well and to accumulate stories. While I have been admiring Skagerak products for some time, it’s been mostly on the web. Seeing them in real life, I could really appreciate the high level of craftsmanship, warm aesthetic beauty and functionality of the products. Every corner of the stunning store was beautifully styled and I came away feeling so inspired, and with lots of photos. I’ve finally been through them all and picked out a few to share with you today.
