'Writer's Corner' - A Light and Airy Swedish Apartment
Hej hej! Today is a big day here at the My Scandinavian Home studio. I’ve been beavering away on a big project behind the scenes – a new book! And I’ve finally handed in the first copy of my manuscript to the publisher – phew! What a major relief! It’s not an interior coffee table book (like The Scandinavian Home), it’s along another line / theme. I can’t wait to share more about it with you soon! To celebrate (actually, it’s more of a coincidence than anything else!), my family and I are heading North to the Swedish ski resort of Åre for the school holidays tomorrow.
Before we head off on our long 14-hour journey, I wanted to nip in and share this lovely, light and airy home in Gothenburg aptly named ‘Writers Corner’. I was reeled in by the soothing tones, effortless style, large windows and all the plants! It also makes me feel like spring is in the air! Perhaps it will be when we return south next week! I hope this lovely home brings a little calm to your Friday too!

Did you spot the roaring ‘kakelugn’?
I’ll be taking a little time out and back here blogging again on Monday 27th February. In the meantime, please do pull up a chair and have a rummage in the archives – there’s so much to see! Here are a few links:
Oh, and keep an eye on my instagram if you’d like to see a few behind the scenes pics from beautiful Åre!
I hope you have a relaxing week!
