Cette maison familiale en bois d’environ 140 m² avec une grande terrasse a été conçue par Cutler Anderson Architectes, pour un propriétaire désirant vivre en connexion avec la nature. Construite sur un étang artificiel envahi par la végétation, elle été placée comme un pont à travers l’extrémité nord de l’étang. L’étang lui-même a été élargi afin d’intégrer la structure de la résidence. La large perspective de l’étang devient visible seulement lors de l’ouverture de la porte d’entrée.
A wooden house on the water
This family wooden house of about 140 m² with a large terrace was designed by Cutler Anderson Architects, for an owner wishing to live in connection with nature. Built on a man-made pond overgrown with vegetation, it was placed like a bridge across the northern end of the pond. The pond itself was enlarged to integrate the structure of the residence. The wide view of the pond only becomes visible when the entrance door is opened.
