Joan, fondatrice de Roura Studio Design, et Martín et María sont partenaires dans Livin’it Barcelona, une société spécialisée dans la rénovation de lieux uniques. L’une de leur dernière œuvre est cet appartement, situé dans un immeuble du début du XXe siècle, dans le quartier Born, l’un des plus anciens -mais en plein essor- de Barcelone. La rénovation a consisté à récupérer l’essence originelle du bâtiment,qui était en très mauvais état et le projet était complexe. Un espace ouvert a été privilégié pour laisser une impression de volume, les verrières intérieurs et les briques blanches ont ajouté de la lumière à l’ensemble, et les nombreuse plantes ont fait entrer la nature. A unique renovated apartment
Joan, founder of Roura Studio Design, and Martín and María are partners in Livin’it Barcelona, a company specialized in the renovation of unique places. One of their latest works is this apartment, located in an early 20th century building in the Born district, one of Barcelona’s oldest – but fastest-growing – neighbourhoods. The renovation consisted in recovering the original essence of the building, which was in very poor condition and the project was complex. An open space was privileged to leave an impression of volume, the interior glass partitions and white bricks added light to this apartment with only a single window, , and the numerous plants brought in nature.
