One of my favorite trends I’ve seen as of late is rugs. Not just any rugs—tufted rugs done by artists. Often, they’re one of a kind and are at the intersection of illustrative imagery and fiber art (my favorite!) Studio Meche is a great example of this; inspired by flowers, the tufted creations are a stylized view of them. The designs include intricate color combinations that depict all of the beautiful flecks of colors to be found in a single petal.
