Ever since we moved into our Munich apartment I have put so much time and effort in achieving a cozy and relaxing look for our bedroom. I think it needs to be a space where you become quiet and relaxed in order to get a good night sleep. This can really add to your sleep quality and can make you so much more productive during the day.
All this time though, we were sleeping on a rather old mattress, which we had bought when we moved into our first Berlin home. Needless to say it was time to replace this and so I got very excited to be trying out the the new Eve2 mattress in our bedroom.
The Eve2 mattress has a unique layering system, combined with next-generation memory foam, which creates a cooler, more tranquil sleeping surface. It’s great for relieving pressure points and provides support just where you need it so you never have the feeling of sinking in. Our new mattress arrived in a happy yellow shipping box, which contained the mattress in a vacuum packaging. We simply rolled it out with the packaging on top of our bed, cut the wrapper open and saw the mattress take its shape.
An Eve2 mattress consists out of five layers, which gives you the support of a firm mattress, combined with the comfort and luxury of a softer one. The top layer is a soft knitted top cover, which is machine washable and keeps you cool at night. We have been sleeping on our new mattress for about a week now and we have both slept very well. The mattress firms to your body shape almost immediately after you lay on top (or after you change positions) and feels very supportive. The different layers and memory foam also make you feel less of the person moving besides you.
The pillows and linen bedding you see in the pictures are from Eve as well. The pure linen sheets are stonewashed and have a different fabric color on the inside (I picked the light grey and white version).
