Softly does it. Cooler greys are moving over for all things taupe, tan, tobacco, latte, blonde and blush. Add to all this a touch of driftwood grey and neutrals are anything but boring. In fact, these muted hues are guaranteed to let the texture do all the talking. Serene shades are about building depth, dimension and tactility and balancing this soft décor with edgier pieces can create an aesthetic full of interesting contrasts.

We love the idea of elevating this look with natural materials like raw timber and tactile accessories in leather, linen and wool and so we’ll be taking our minimalist cues from Nicolas Schuybroek’s JR Apartment. His use of warm and welcoming neutral tones create space for creativity and allow decorative objects to become focal points. After all, it’s all in the detail.
