I think this small loft home is designed to perfection. The space, even though very beautiful with those large industrial style windows, is rather awkward to decorate, yet a very functional layout has been achieved by the designers.
The kitchen was built in in the area when you come in and it goes wall-to-wall, with bottom and top cupboards for optimal use of storage space. The kitchen goes over into hallway storage as well when getting closer to the front door. Because the kitchen is placed on the wall, this leaves ample space for a big dining table and a comfy sofa area by the window. The wall opposed to the sofa is both a bookshelf and a TV console, which is a great mix of functionalities as well.
The bedroom, which also has a slightly awkward floor plan with these angled walls has been made into a home office as well, which is the ideal use of space of this narrow area by the window. It’s all about planning isn’t it ?
