We’ve handpicked nine fabrics to bring new life to old classics through upholstery. Each with a notable designer to their name, these fabrics reflect an artistic exploration of colour, texture and pattern.

Fashion designer Oscar De La Renta, in collaboration with Lee Jofa, created the 100 per cent silk Brushstroke Tobacco Fabric, reflecting their love of pattern exploration.
Described as where fine art meets street art, the highly-recognised Graffito Onyx Beige fabric is a trademark of US interior designer Kelly Wearstler’s brand.
Designed by Vincent Van Duysen, the Kvadrat Fez Stripe 003 is a deep grey-green fabric made in Italy from a soft Sahco upholstery.
The Hedgerow fabric is a soft green Panorama pigmented leather with a smooth finish, suitable for residential and commercial projects.
The iconic Missoni Home pattern naturally finds its way into this edit with the Vitim #164 fabric.
Thick boucle and chenille yarns bring a course look and feel to the Kvadrat Sahco Safire 003 fabric. With a two-tone brown effect, the textile has a hand-knotted appearance.
Missoni Home Claremont #170 is a fine woven stripe fabric that incorporates neutral shades separated by black and white lines.
Renowned designer Patricia Urquiola envisioned Memory 2 0256 for Kvadrat’s collection. The organic textile has a ‘digital’ look, created with boucle yarns that ‘play across the fabric’s surface’.
The District fabric by Kelly Wearstler was designed to ‘evoke a feeling of casual decadence’. The hand-painted fabric nods to cubism with shards of coloured geometric shapes fitting together on heavy linen.
