New Season Releases from Muuto

I’m excited to share the Fall/Winter 2018 news from Danish brand Muuto today. To start with, the popular Fiber family welcomes a new addition with the Fiber Lounge Chair. Designed by Copenhagen-based duo Iskos-Berlin, it features a lightly hovering appearance and high level of comfort. With soft embracing curves across wood and tube bases for a refined expression and elegant silhouette, it comes in a variety of upholstered finishes. The warm, earthy colours below are my favourite.

The new Beam Lamp by Tom Chung is a versatile table lamp with a modern expression and intuitive user-friendliness. With light omitted from each end of the cylinder shape, the user can choose between three different volumes in each end with the turn of a playful dial. I love that the Beam Lamp can be altered for any position with its rotating base. Perfect for areas of the home where you want the flexibility of changing between direct lighting and a softer, ambient glow.

Muuto have introduced a new rug with this collection, the aptly named Pebble Rug by Margrethe Odgaard. Featuring a diverse and tactile surface, the floor rug was inspired by the sensuous feeling of walking across a pebbled beach. With a handwoven structure, Pebble Rug contrasts the materials of its soft, woollen loops with its sturdy canvas base in a cooling jute yarn. Beautiful!

Introducing their first highback sofa design, Muuto presents the Outline Highback Sofa by Anderssen & Voll. Marrying the simple and elegant Outline family design language with the highback element, the design allows for the creation of private spheres within bigger spaces, providing shelter for conversation and collaboration.

It’s great to see that Muuto have created a new Under The Bell Pendant in a smaller size. The 55 cm diameter allows for easy use in any home or professional project. With its cupola-like shade made from recycled PET fibers, the Under The Bell Pendant Lamp absorbs the acoustics of a space while adding a modern touch to the atmosphere. As shown below, they work beautifully suspended above the Muuto Base Table and Workshop Chairs.

Both the Fiber Armchair & Side Chair with Swivel & Casters have been released with a new gas lift functionality allowing for easy raising and lowering of the seat in workspace areas. Take a look here.
