The Summer 2025/2026 collection from Baya leans into a little more shape, texture and colour — but stays focused on a refined celebration of handmade craft.
In association with Baya.
Floor rugs, cushions and throws that “soften the edges of life” sound like the go at any time of year but this coming season, Baya ups the ante with a subtle shift in their latest offering that puts comfort and contemporary elegance at your fingertips and at your feet (quite literally).
This is a not a departure from their commitment to considered pieces that weave quietly into your lifestyle. It’s a gentle design evolution, a heightening where shapes are just a bit more sculptural, textures are taken up a notch and colour is given bigger billing.
The Marlow rug in Wine, made of 100 per cent New Zealand wool, exemplifies this direction: it’s dashing in a pin-stripe of pale pink against a burgundy background — and deeply textural. For those bold enough to make a refined statement, it’s here for you.
Also new to this grounded floor-show is the Sandringham rug, a loom-knotted cut-pile in three uplifting shades. Aquamarine blue has pure clarity of purpose, Rosewood pink embodies an expression of earthiness, and herbaceous Basil green makes a play for the limelight, all while bringing a sense of luxe to the everyday.

Sectional sofas with rounded forms that lend better ergonomic comfort are one fulcrum of today’s intentional interiors, and big, boxy or bolstered cushions are a natural supporting act with star power.

Cotton velvets pair with piping in the Edward cushion and Elliot bolster, which is equally smart and luxurious. In tones of Chocolate and Thyme, they are deliciously mixable — and striped linen gussets add geometric definition. These two colourways join a rich Tobacco orange and timeless Ecru neutral in the oblong Turner cushion, a quilted design that gives any setting an instant textural lift.
Timeless forms, natural fibres and soft boldness: a collection that says welcome home, just a little louder.
