I’ve spent the weekend in Bergen and although it never seem to be time to explore the city when I’m visiting (need to do something about that), I do have a recommendation on a nice hotel in the beautiful west coast town. I had the pleasure of staying at newly opened Hotel Norge and from my tenth floor room the view of Bergen with its shifting weather, mist and pretty rooftops were amazing. Add super friendly staff, designer furniture as far as you can see ( half the amount would be more than enough) and a breakfast better than I’ve had at any other Norwegian hotel. Plus, the ground floor restaurant and bar had a vibrant, cool and international atmosphere at night with a mix of hotel guests and other visitors.
