I was happy to have booked a few days more when I was in Paris for Maison & Objet and Paris Design week. Although I love being in company and it is always more fun to explore all the old and new Paris has to offer. I do not hesitate to travel alone or hop into a restaurant and have a coffee or a lunch. I actually think Paris is a wonderful city to also visit alone and terraces are filled with small tables where you can comfortably sit with or without company.

I always love to visit interior stores when in Paris or any big city, but this time I also added a lot of other things to my wishlist, such as nice parcs, some musea and beautiful squares and buildings. And unlike other times I spent little time at the Marais and more on Rive Gauche and I really enjoyed.

On my Instagram I already showed the most interesting spots I came across, but seeing the amount of pictures I brought home I thought why not show you some more of the different stores I visited. Let’s have a look at a few images of Caravane, an interior design company that designs and manufactures elegant and refined furniture and objects around the world. With five locations in Paris, The Caravane House at Rue Jacob 27 is one of the largest. Mostly my images are quite minimal,  and the pictures in this post are to give you an impression of a store that looks both minimal and packed with ceramics and Linen at the same time, Enjoy!

My Paris guide | The Caravane house

The Caravane house

Located in the heart of Saint Germain des Prés, this private mansion is a new ambition for the brand that has made the interiors travel for more than 25 years.

A unique boutique space designed as a tribute to the brand’s values, with a special emphasis on its signature colours and unique fabrics. First, in the courtyard decorated with greenery, for sunbathing and take a breath of great inspiration from elsewhere. Then in its floors that meets with each other … without being alike.

More a place of life than a shop, this House is the opportunity to (re)discover Caravane. Its fluffy sofas, iconic fabrics, pieces that could have been brought from the end of the world, and this eye that magnifies an interior.
