The dining area is my favorite corner in the kitchen at the moment, but to be honest there is not much to compete with here, as the kitchen still needs to be rebuilt and upgraded. I can’t wait to show you more about my plans for the kitchen soon, but for now I’m very much enjoying cozy coffee moments and dinner here in front of the kitchen window.

I love to light the candles during breakfast, it gives such a cozy look and feel to the space. I fell back in love with block candles after not using them for a really long time and have placed them in these vases from Iittala* and Arket*. I love the way the candle light is visible yet slightly hidden by the texture of the glass. The brown, beige and natural palette also matches perfectly with my Kamut art print on the wall and I love the generally warm look and feel of this space.

I also got to try out some new plates* and bowls* designed by Sergio Herman for Serax, and I love the curvy shape and the difference in color on the ceramic.
