Natural oak wood cabinets and a stone island in a modern kitchen
The existing steel structure of the boat hall is enhanced by a custom kitchen design with natural oak wood cabinets and a modern kitchen island made of stone. These two materials add a rich, warm, and organic texture to elevate the space with timeless durability.
The oak wood and stone combination comes back in a custom wall shelf with a sliding door, which is ideal to place a few carefully selected decor objects.
An elegant and minimal living room underneath a modern steel staircase
The modern staircase features a sleek side panel in the same color as the wall behind it, making it blend in, while still serving as a striking sculptural element. The steps are made of oak wood, making a visual connection to the other oak elements in the renovation.
A minimal bedroom with an oak headboard and minimal storage
The upstairs bedroom features oak flooring, paired with a minimal oak headboard and custom white storage cabinets on top.
Simple black wall lamps and bedside tables made out of stone mimic the material palette of the downstairs kitchen.
A modern bathroom with a traditional washi paper screen
The modern bathroom features a custom stone sink built in between custom storage cabinets. The real focal point of this modern bathroom, however, is the traditional washi paper screen with an oak wood frame, which creates a serene and relaxing ambiance perfect for a bathroom.
