A new coffee table for our living area has been a long time coming, but it was worth the wait. I held off because the last coffee table was constantly covered in toys, and it wasn’t worth the risk of placing anything breakable on top. Now that the boys are older, I love that I can place my favourite things such as a vase of flowers, a candle or books on top and not have little hands grabbing at them. On a recent visit to Bauhuas I was excited to see that the table I had my heart set on some time ago (which consequently sold out) had arrived in their latest shipment. The AIRY table by Cecilie Manz for Muuto is such a beautiful fit for our space. True to its name it has a light and almost floaty look, softening the square lines of our sofa and creating a lovely sense of balance.
Another new addition is the Frosted Glass shade from Tessuti for our Lampe Gras Floor lamp. It has a delicate finish and when switched on creates a very pretty effect as the light softly illuminates the glass.
