When doing the kitchen renovation and planning, the owners created a layout that’s centered around a single wall that contains both upper and lower cupboards, in combination with a small kitchen island that is mounted against the wall.
This layout divides the large kitchen into two areas and creates an extra space to place the dining table with access to the balcony.
The warm gray and beige tones in the kitchen are complemented by a warm color palette in the dining area furniture and accessories. The warm tones of both the artwork and the furniture add depth to the space and the sheer beige curtains warm up the light coming through those windows.

The long and narrow bedroom space is a bit more challenging to decorate, yet by placing the wardrobe modules at the entrance of the room, a hallway of sorts is created where all clothes can be stored. The layout of the bedroom opens up towards the window and fits the bed exactly.
The gray kitchen and the light grays in the living area are matched by gray walls in the bedroom as well for a cohesive effect throughout the apartment. The wardrobes at the entrance of the bedroom have been painted in the same gray color as the walls, which integrates them into the space even better.
The gray palette has been lightened up by white bedding and just like in the living room, a warm color palette in the textiles and accessories gives this space a warm and inviting look.
