I have a huge sweet tooth and I love to bake. (I’ve made it a recent tradition to bake a cake every New Year’s Eve!) So it’s no surprise I’m drawn to this series of Fake Cake Clocks from Holly of Sun Sprinkles. She has created wall clocks that look just like the tops of gooey frosted desserts. Using polymer clay, she’s replicated piped icing and frosting that looks just like it’s been spread with an offset spatula. Each clock holds the distinction of being a functional device while also making you hungry.
