One of the largest and finest stately homes in England is Knole House, located in the Kent countryside not far from London. It has been inhabited by the Sackville family for over 400 years. It has an incredible 365 rooms, 52 staircases and 7 courtyards. A book about Knole House was published in October with photos by Ashley Hicks and I’m thinking I have to add this one to my collection. This home is magnificent in its grandeur and the beautiful antiques and architectural details throughout. And a room for each day…can you even imagine?!
