Avec les jours gris et courts, et la pluie, posséder une cheminée pour se réchauffer est une bénédiction. En Suède, c’est un élément incontournable, même dans les constructions les plus récentes qui offrent la possibilité d’installer un foyer traditionnel ou à gaz. Il est regrettable qu’il n’en soit pas de même en France. Si on ajoute le côté écologique au plaisir du feu, il n’y a rien de mieux que de s’installer au coin de la cheminée, comme ici, dès les premiers frimas (et c’est un peu plus élégant qu’un sweat en polaire !). Dans cet appartement, un poêle ancien en céramique donne ce petit supplément d’âme à un intérieur très raffiné.

With the grey and short days, and the rain, having a fireplace to warm up is a blessing. In Sweden, it is an essential element, even in the most recent constructions, which offer the possibility of fitting a traditional or gas fireplace. It is sad that this is not the case in France. If you add the ecological aspect to the pleasure of fire, there’s nothing better than sitting by the fireplace, like here, from the first cold weather (and it’s a little more elegant than a fleece sweatshirt!). In this apartment, an old ceramic stove gives this little extra soul to a very refined interior.
