It’s been a busy year for me. My writing in Brown Paper Bag has been sporadic (at best) over these past many months, and I’m going to be taking off some time for a bit longer—I’m working on a book! I’ve actually been working on it for a while, but it’s due in just a couple of months so I’m going to dedicate time to completing it. I’ll be back with a regular writing schedule of three days a week come the very beginning of January 2023.
I’m so excited about this book; it’s a dream project for me. The working title is Threads of Treasure: How to make, mend, and find meaning through thread. It will feature fiber artist profiles (along with their beautiful work), and it will empower you to find and create your own meaning through textile art. It will be published in spring 2024, and I’ll be sharing more in the time to come!
