Stumbling across this unique apartment today, I was drawn to the white bright space, natural materials and minimalist style. Located in New York’s Lower East Side, it belongs to wellness guru Daphne Javitch and her husband Pali Xisto Cornelsen. Airy and spacious, the light filled open-plan living and dining area features large windows and original brickwork painted in white. Wooden flooring and ceiling beams give the apartment loads of warmth. The custom-made sofa frames the space perfectly and looks so inviting don’t you think? It was designed by Pali, who Daphne says has an insane mid-century chair collection. One of which is the iconic Pierre Jeanneret chair which has long been a favourite of mine.
