I love the dark furniture pieces in this living room, combined with the white walls. It does pull all the weight of the room down visually, because the floor is made out of a very dark wood as well. To avoid this, a large area rug was used underneath the sofa and a lot of art pieces were hung up on the walls, which draw the eye upwards and balance out the interior. The big statement lamp in the living room fits wonderfully well in this room and also contributes to a visually balanced room.
