Valentines Day is approaching and I thought to share with you a free tutorial for a heart shape macrame wall hanging that I have made last year.

It’s very simple to make and very cute to add to your home. I have used 100% recycled cotton t-shirt yarn from Bobbiny in dusty pink. You can experiment with different colours.

To make this macrame piece, final size approximately 20x60cm (excluding the wooden stick) you will need:

12 x 2 meters of yarn

1 wooden dowel/stick 30 cm long

NOTE: start your first knot approximately 6-8 cm below your wooden dowel.
