Last week I was invited to a super cozy dinner by Skagerak and their Norwegian agent Muchi. The dinner was much more a garden party with friends rather than a normal work event and although I already shared these photos on Instagram stories during the dinner I wanted to share them here with you as well. How they decorated the tables and the whole setting is such a nice inspiration on how to throw a garden party without spending all day on decorating.
Most people dont necessarily have outdoors furniture to fit 20-something guests but by putting together two long tables, bringing some of your indoor chairs outside or borrow your neighbors you’ll be able to. Table setting and decorations can be super simple, but so very beautiful done like here. Different vases put together with wildflowers, here they also used a winecooler as a vase – and tea towels is used as napkins. Casual and with the homey and personal feeling who sets the mood for the night.
The Danish chef Mikkel Karstad was cooking for us at the dinner and all courses was vegetable-based. No fish, no meat, only the best of what the season offers right now. Also so very inspiring, I need to get the hold of his latest cookbook, Evergreen, myself.
