Collaborating with local design talent, the latest collection from Bremworth takes you on a journey through the diverse landscapes of Aotearoa.
In association with Bremworth.
In the heart of the country’s design landscape, a new collection has taken root, drawing inspiration from the very essence of Aotearoa. Bremworth’s Āhuru carpet collection showcases the company’s commitment to only using 100% New Zealand wool and the benefits of collaborating with local design talent.
Weaving a tapestry of tones and textures, the collection features a range of native flora inspired shades from the warm mauve tones of the kāmahi tree trunk to kākaho, a hue representing the toetoe flower stem.
Āhuru, meaning ‘warm and cosy’ in Māori, is more than a floor covering; it’s a celebration of New Zealand’s design prowess. The seven colours have been created through a collaboration with local designers including (at left, from left to right), Emma Hayes of Emma Hayes Textiles, Liv Patience and Toni Brandso of Material Creative, Kristen Basra of Spatial Studio, and Annique Heesen of Gezellig Interiors.
Bremworth’s focus on sustainability and quality is woven into every fibre of Āhuru. The carpets include a 15-year abrasive wear warranty and the highest ACCS environmental standard: ECS Level 4. This dedication to performance and eco-friendliness ensures that homeowners can enjoy their beautiful floors for years, knowing they’ve made a responsible choice.
Made with 100% New Zealand wool, these carpets have natural resilience and durability. They are easy to maintain, hypoallergenic, and offer natural humidity control.
As we walk on these carpets, we’re embracing a piece of New Zealand. Āhuru brings the outdoors in, creating spaces connected to our natural world.
